Removal - Chris Method

Make sure that your hands are completely dry and free of oils and debris. Hold your head over the counter, looking face down. Position your middle fingers of each hand, one on the top eye lid, the other on the lower eye lid. Hold the eye lids open. Lightly touch the center of the MacroLens with the index finger of the bottom hand. Look up, and the lens will adhere to the finger and be removed from the eye. Be careful not to drop the lens.

Removal - Finger Method
NOTE: Minutes before you begin removal, it is important that you place a drop or two of wetting solution in the eye. Develop the habit of working with the same lens first to avoid mix-ups. Hold the upper lid up & away from the eye. Create a clear path for the lens to the eye. Bring the lens up to the eye slowly, touch the lens to the eye. Once in place, release lids & blink. Using the corresponding hand to the lens being removed, place one finger on the upper lid and lashes, and another on the lower lid, directly center of the lens. Look directly downward, then sharply upward and nasally. The lens will catch and easily fall out. Always have the non-corresponding hand cupped under the eye, to catch the falling lens.

Removal - Suction Cup Method
Position the transfer cup towards the edge of the lens. DO NOT position in the center of the lens or any part of the exposed eye. Slowly move the cup towards the lens until the cup touches the lens. Apply slight pressure, allowing the cup to grab the lens. Keeping the eyelids open, pull the contact lens remover directly away from the eye. The lens will stay attached to the cup and will be removed from the eye. Using a recommended contact lens remover only.
